I know I posted a list of things that I want to accomplish in 2012 on FB like be a nicer person and etc but these are too high-level. I'm going to try and add to the list and make the targets more detailed and achievable.
Family
My parents always complain that I'm always out till late night and seldom spend time at home. This is like an ongoing statement for the past few years and it has led to a lot of stupid arguments with my parents which I think are not worth it. I have decided to try and make better judgement on staying out late esp on a weeknight.
Spiritual
2011 is probably the year that I sinned the most. It is also the year that God has blessed me the most and shown Himself so real to me. It doesn't make sense in the law of karma. It must be His grace. If 2011 is the Year of the Lord's favor, 2012 is the Year of Redemption. I wanted to do something ambitious like fasting or going on mission trip, but I think the basics have to be there first.
Health
I did nothing good to my health in 2011. Drank excessively, had irregular sleep and no regular exercise at all.
Career
"When you talk about your job, you lit up like a Christmas tree!" That was what a friend told me a day ago. I'm happy with what I have now. I have made a decision and my colleagues are very supportive of what I want to do. I will continue to work hard and to seize the opportunities given to me.
Finance
My pay is not much but I try to make the most out of it. I've been saving consistently every month. I've also gotten a credit card this year. It doesn't mean that I have more to spend, it just gives me a greater spending power. I've also started pumping my own car petrol and paying for my phone bills. Also, irregularly giving to my parents and brother. I will not be expecting a good bonus or a significant payrise this year round, but like I said, I always try to make the most out of it.
Social-development
If you have read my 2011 note on FB, you will know that I did nothing right in this area in 2011.
Self-development
Other than learning how to travel on my own with the trips to Singapore, I don't think I've done much of self-development. I don't even read those Fortune or Time magazine that I subscribe to.
We'll return to review the progress of this list at the end of March 2012.

- Must spend at least 3-4 nights at home, or at least back by 8pm*
- Alternate Saturday lunch or dinner with family.
*exception to celebrations and festive season

- Put 10% of my income into the offering bag every month

- Exercise at least twice a week
